Along with the confidence, I really should have gone out instead of batting, we last played a match on the 11th, so we were all eager to go out and showcase our talent. The wicket was really good. In a tournament like this, momentum is really important, we have seen RCB winning their matches and grabbing momentum, we also wanted that momentum, so we wanted to go out and play as the rain stopped, but it was disappointing. But, we were table toppers and we have got a lot of support from the management. It is always special for such players to play in an IPL final, it is a dream moment for us, going to Chennai and looking forward to it. We were desperate to go out, when you have momentum you really want to go out there. You saw Rinku fielding in hot spots and he was taking catches, it excites us that we have to go out there and perform.

Yeah, we will try to put it behind us quickly, good thing we got through this (second qualifier). In T20 cricket you have days when things don’t work out. We weren’t where we wanted with the bat and obviously couldn’t do much with the ball as well. I thought the extra batting was important on this wicket (picking the impact sub). I thought KKR bowled really well, it was a bit lacking initially and the surface got better. We have all played enough cricket and going to a new venue (Chennai) also helps us, so we have to put it behind us and move on.
