New Zealand delegation calls on Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, in a bid to strengthen ties
This was a courtesy visit to make people aware of collaboration of any nature, a nine-member delegation from New Zealand, consisting of Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Commerce Todd McClay and New Zealand’s High Commissioner to India Patrick Rata, called upon Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar. The delegation visited to identify opportunities wherein New Zealand and Gujarat could cooperate in areas like agriculture, dairying, renewable energy, and tourism. In this courtesy meeting, both parties showed interest in developing long-term cultural and economic relations.
