Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad due to heat stroke

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been hospitalized in Ahmedabad due to a heat stroke. The actor, who came here to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad, fainted due to the stress of the scorching heat amid 45-degree Celsius temperature. His condition is stable, but Shah Rukh Khan has not been discharged as yet and is still under medical observation. Security around the hospital has been beefed up after the incident, as sources told IANS news agency.

Juhi Chawla, who long remains the best friend of the actor, visited him in the hospital during his stay. An official statement from the hospital will be assured something soon, a news agency IANS said.

A heat stroke has taken Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to a hospital in Ahmedabad. The actor was in Ahmedabad to watch an Indian Premier League match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday. “The actor was a victim of dryness amid high temperatures of 45 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad. His health condition is stable though he has been kept under medical observation. Security has been tightened around the hospital,” IANS news agency reported quoting sources.

The close actor friend of the actor and actress Juhi Chawla could reach the hospital to meet up with the actor. An official statement from the hospital is expected to be reassuring soon, reported IANS news agency. On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen acting in the film “Dunky”. His upcoming film, tentatively titled “King”, is believed to feature him with his daughter Suhana Khan. The musical score for the film is reportedly being done by Anirudh Ravichander. An official confirmation for ‘King’ is awaited.
