The Lucknow-Meerut Vande Bharat Express, which is going to be introduced, will have its first journey on August 31 and will run with the numbers 22490/22489. While the train will leave Meerut City at 6:35 AM, it will reach Lucknow at 1:45 PM, therefore becoming a suitable choice for people who intend to travel in the morning. The stoppages include five minutes at Moradabad Junction, which will fall at 8:35 AM, and two minutes at Bareilly Junction, falling at 9:56 AM. In this way, such tight but efficient scheduling allows the passengers to cover these principal cities with minimum delay.

In its return journey from Lucknow, the train will leave the Charbagh railway station at 2:45 PM. It will then be further extended to Meerut City in the return direction to reach Bareilly Junction at 6:02 PM and Moradabad Junction at 7:32 PM.
