EAM S. Jaishankar Visits Kuwait: Bilateral Ties and Future Avenues
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar paid a crucial diplomatic visit to Kuwait on Sunday, calling on the Kuwaiti leadership comprising Prime Minister Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah. The visit had the objective of further strengthening the bilateral relationship between India and Kuwait and seeking ways and means for further strengthening collaboration in diverse fields.

The visiting Minister called upon Prime Minister Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. He spoke with him on the issue of further strengthening the strategic relationship between India and Kuwait. Jaishankar appreciated the views of the PM on how to strengthen bilateral relations and thanked him for his suggestions on ways to promote economic cooperation.
In a statement, he said “Pleased to call on His Highness Sheikh Dr Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait. Appreciated his perspectives on the deepening of India-Kuwait ties. Valued his views in regard to further economic cooperation”.
That reiterated once more both sides’ commitments towards expanding their economic and strategic relationship, especially in trade and investment and energy sector.
Meeting with Crown Prince
