Indian football legend Bhaichung Bhutia on Saturday launched the country’s biggest-ever football talent hunt, scouting out young talents from every corner of the nation. Organized in collaboration with enJogo, the initiative by Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools will discover and nurture future football heroes. Spanning 50 cities, this ambitious project underlines unprecedented platforms for aspiring players to put their skills to the test.
A Nationwide Talent Hunt: Reaching Every Corner of India
The talent hunt, starting in this month, will cover cities across India and open doors to players from the urban and rural belts. Among the cities, the list includes Jalandhar, Patiala, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Mysuru, Mangalore, Bangalore, and Belgaum. The trials are open for 9-to-18-year-old players, and over 6,000 young athletes are expected to participate in the drills.
The initiative looks to delve into underground talent reserves in cities that are not, at first glance, known for football.
